Adrian Kooistra is a Sunshine Coast writer, adventurer and advocate for people with disabilities.
Adrian has Cerebral Palsy which effects his mobility and speech, so he writes using Facilitated Communication. Adrian believes that everyone can succeed in their dreams if they really believe in it. Adrian is the author of the Fletcher Babysits series now available on amazon and booktopia or at local markets in Cotton Tree, Sunshine Coast.
Adrian is part of a band called Legless Nomads, who have performed locally at Ricks Garage in Palmwoods. They plan to release singles this year as well as perform live all over the Sunshine Coast.
Adrian has his poems published in anthologies in Prism with the Buderim Writers Group and with Brotherhood of The Worldless.
Adrian is currently collaborating with another local writer, director and musician to produce a musical theater piece called ANT.
